Reasons to use VOIP

The cost savings of using VOIP is especially crucial for businesses who rely heavily on making telephone calls. Sales agencies come to mind in this case. Companies can significantly reduce costs by switching to VOIP and in fact many companies have already done so. This is not to say that they have completely gotten rid of traditional telephone lines, but it is nevertheless true that VOIP providers are replacing many situations where traditional telephones would normally have been used.

Another benefit that VOIP offers over traditional phones is the added features that is is able to provide to the user. Features on regular telephones are notoriously sparse and not much can be done other than making or receiving calls. Since VOIP is done through the computer and over an IP, many added features can be exercised using VOIP. These features include but are not limited to online call monitoring and online phone access systems. It’s also possible to track call volume straight from your PC, a feature that cannot be used using traditional telephones.
